TERMS AND CONDITIONS

POSTAL TREATS

By placing an order with Actually Good, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

ACCESSING OUR WEBSITE

Access to our website is subject to our discretion, We reserve the right to withdraw access or amend our services at any time, without any notice. We will not be liable if for any reason our website is not available. 

(1) PRODUCT

1.1 All our bakes are handmade, meaning each will be unique and may appear slightly different from our product photos. 
1.2 Our cake jars are best eaten within 2–3 days of delivery but, if stored properly, they can keep for up to 5 days or more with little discernible loss of quality. Store your cake jars in a cool place away from direct sunlight and heat. You may keep the cake jars in the fridge, but it is not essential unless it’s a hot day. If you are keeping your jars in the fridge, and you don’t want to eat them cold, simply remove the jars a couple of hours before to allow them to come to room temperature. 
1.3 On rare occasions, our packaging may differ slightly due to availability and stock control. This will in no way affect the quality of your product. 

(2) PACKAGING

2.1 Our cake jars are made of glass. Whilst packaging has been designed to minimise damage, however on the rare occasion a cake jar is shattered upon arrival, please do not consume it. Consumption of damaged or tampered cake jars is entirely at the risk of the consumer.

(3) FOOD ALLERGIES

3.1 Our kitchen is not suitable for any allergy sufferers, due to possible cross-contamination. We do not accept any liability for any damage to your health or any distress inflicted on you by the consumption of such products. 
3.2 We are careful to outline the ingredients and allergens on our website. Please ensure that these are read and understood in relation to your intolerance and/or allergy. 

(4) ORDERING

4.1 Your order is only confirmed once we have received full payment and you have received an order confirmation from us. We reserve the right to reject any order, prior to confirmation.
4.2 Once confirmed, your order will be dispatched at the earliest opportunity. We only send out our bakes once a week. Please refer to the product information before ordering for the nearest estimated delivery date. 
4.3 Cake Club orders will be posted monthly (refer to the product information.) We are currently unable to take requests for delivery dates. Refer to the product page on our website for more information. 
4.4 Our prices are liable to change at any time. This will not affect orders where we have already sent the invoice and collected the final payment. 

(5) OFFERS AND PROMOTIONS

5.1 Actually Good reserves the right to withdraw offers and/or promotions at any time when it is deemed that the offer and/or promotion is being abused.

(6) COLLECTION

6.1. If you are collecting your order from our home bakery, you will be asked to sign to verify your order is in a good condition and is undamaged. By signing, you acknowledge that Actually Good does not take any responsibility for any damage that may occur once it has been handed to the customer. 

(7) DELIVERY

7.1 We post orders on a weekly basis, which means that we are unable to guarantee a specific delivery date. Note: Cake Club is posted monthly, please refer to the product page for an estimated delivery date.
7.2 Any estimated delivery dates on our website are to be taken as an estimate, we cannot guarantee the date. 
7.3 We post our bakes to you via Royal Mail Tracked 24. We will do what we can to assist in tracking your delivery, but we cannot be held responsible for any delays that are out of our control. 
7.4 Because of the size of our bakes, the parcel is unsuitable for letterbox delivery. You will have the opportunity at check out to specify your ‘safe place’ in case you won’t be in. 
7.5 Your items will be delivered to the address entered upon ordering. We cannot accept any liability for a failed delivery due to an incorrect address. Please check your address before placing your order. If you’d like to change your delivery address, please contact us within 24 hours, or before your order has been dispatched (whichever comes first), to allow us time to amend it for you. 

(8) CANCELLATION POLICY

8.1 If, for any reason, you wish to cancel your order, you must let us know by email (hello@actually-good.co.uk) as soon as possible. If you contact us after your order has been baked and/or dispatched, we will be unable to cancel your order. 
8.2 It is rare that we should have to cancel your order, however Actually Good is a one-person team and in the case of serious illness, might be unable to bake your order.  In this case, we will give you as much notice as possible and provide you will a full refund.  If you’d like to change your order details or date, please let me know ASAP. We will do our best to accommodate changes, however, this may not always be possible. 

(9) COMPLAINTS

9.1 Due to the perishable nature of the goods, we cannot process returns.
9.2 If you have a complaint about your order, please let us know within 24 hours of receiving your product. Please provide photographs to help explain why you are unhappy. Any refunds will be issued at our discretion. Note: occasionally, during the courier transit, some cosmetic damage may occur to your bakes. Although they may not look as pretty as when we sent them out, we promise that they’ll still taste incredible! As a small business, we appreciate your understanding.
9.3 If you have received an incorrect order, or you’re missing an item, we will credit or refund your purchase. If the products are damaged beyond consumption, please immediately take photos of the smashed items inside the box. Refunds will be made at our discretion of the full price you paid, or we will credit you with a replacement of the exact order.

(10) CHANGES IN TERMS AND CONDITIONS

10.1 Actually Good reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Any updates and/or changes to these terms will be considered effective immediately at the time of posting on our website.  

These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
